About Your Job:
The position will be responsible for managing and advising upon all airport security compliance matters for Hamad International Airport. This will include updating and developing The Hamad International Airport Security Programme and any amendments, liasing with all foreign carriers, auditing company Security Standards and Procedures, preparing Security Bulletins and Notices and advising on matters with reference to compliance in the area of new build construction and redevelopment from an airport security perspective.
You will be required to interpret a range of documented regulatory and Company directives as well as verbal instructions to ensure that security documentation is relevant.
Fluency in spoken and written English, therefore, is crucial.
An ability to coach, develop and lead a small team of auditors and to interface with the wider security team is a fundamental requirement, as is integrity and confidentiality.
Ability to work closely with key third parties in particular The Regulator (QCAA) Qatar Civil Aviation Authority and MOI(Ministry of Interior)
Other duties as required from time to time by Head of Security HIA.
About You:
You must hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Security Management, or similar education, with additional qualifications in Aviation Security.
To be successful in this role you should have at least eight (8) years' experience in aviation security. Experience in Security Intelligence, Police, Military Police or Intelligence Analyst training is highly desirable
You should have a comprehensive and practical detailed understanding of airport and airline operations and their security requirements.
