About Your Job:
As the IFE Content Officer- Audio & Games, you will play an important role in ensuring that Qatar Airways remains at the forefront of IFE and continues to offer passengers an enhanced IFE experience. One will also oversee the monthly recommendation and selection of inflight entertainment content, with particular emphasis on Audio & Games content as well as jointly supervising the production of the Oryx Entertainment Guide.
One will be expected to research TV, Music and Movies and recommend updates/selections for our IFE systems each month with special focus on Audio and Games content, you will liaise with external suppliers of IFE content to make sure our offering to customers is both high quality and up to date as well as supervise the monthly production schedules with Content Service Provider an Magazine publisher.
The ideal candidate will conduct periodic audit of onboard reading material, negotiate with IFE Content Suppliers for new services and products as required. You will also make content recommendations to Manager IFE Content-Global based on internal/external research and benchmarking.
About You:
To be successful for this role you will have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferably in Communications, Creative or Media Production. With a minimum 4 years job-related experience and 3 years of experience in the IFE industry with previous airline or Content Service Provider.
Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic languages is key. Editorial experience of recommending content for a diverse range of cultures and requirements. AVOD, Timeline and Metadata management would be an added advantage.The role requires a highly proactive individual, who can multitask with an eye for detail and ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
