About Your Job:
As the Manager Inflight Entertainment & Connectivity Innovations Projects, you will support the Senior Manager IFEC in the identification and development of new IFEC products and systems using the new and emerging relevant technologies relevant to individual application.The emphasis will be continually evaluate and assess the design, performance and functionality of all IFEC Technologies across all fleets both development of current and emerging technologies.
One will be required to work closely with Aircraft Engineering focusing on delivering new or upgrading existing IFEC products, review and evaluate proposed design and functionality of all interactive screens(Movie, TV, Audio, Games & Apps pages on all QR's IFEC systems) excluding content synopsis details.
You will be in charge of developing IFEC systems software plan, product strategy, product definition, roadmap and lifecycle of all new and emerging IFEC platforms and applications. One will manage our external suppliers and work internally with colleagues across the business to ensure all stakeholders deliver the best possible product for our customers. You will negotiate contracts and service level agreements with suppliers to ensure that the best deals are secured for Qatar Airways.
About You:
To be successful in this role you will need a Diploma or Associate Degree with at least 5 years experience within the airline industry, with IFEC systems experience in-flight entertainment industry and basic knowledge of implementation and launch of IFE systems on aircraft.
A strong technical knowledge and experience of all aspects of IFEC development and deployment is essential. An eye for detail is essential with excellent communication skills and a good working understanding of the use of English spelling and grammar with the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
