Senior Electrical Design Engineer:
A leading Engineering consultant company in Qatar look forward for an energetic Electrical Design Engineer with proven GCC experience in the same filed.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the followings:
Designing power systems including power distribution, load calculations, Transformer, switchboards and, cabling design, standby Generator, UPS, earthing; internal and external lighting and lighting control systems; communications design; and electronic safety and security design.
Critically reviewing design documentation (drawings, calculations and specifications) at all stages from concept to construction documentation and providing valuable design input and direction.
Coordinating and leading multi-discipline teams of engineers and designers to produce engineering work products, and interfacing with project management, procurement, and construction contractors.
Providing guidance, training and supervision to professional, technical and support staff on a project basis.
Providing high-quality service to clients in a flexible, innovative, responsive and cost effective manner.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
In depth knowledge of local electrical regulations, international design standards and codes of practice. Basic knowledge of local and international building codes, and structural / architectural industry practices.
Knowledge of building management systems as well as other miscellaneous electronic systems as applicable to modern buildings and systems integration along with AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office applications.
Qualification & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Grade A from UPDA - Qatar
• Minimum 10 years of related GCC experience.
• Professional registration with a relevant international engineering body such as IEE, IEEE or equivalent is advantageous.
