The Sales Engineering Team's primary responsibility is to assist Account Executives and Partners with the technical sales activities in new and existing opportunities. PreSales Engineers have indepth handson experience with Juniper's products and services competitors’ products and services and can demonstrate solid security and networking skills to customers and partners. The team assists with understanding customers’ requirements the design of Juniper solutions delivering sales presentations presenting technical information about products and services conducting product demonstrations installation product evaluations presenting at seminars responding to RFP's and RFI's and the technical development of Juniper Partners. The Systems sales Engineering Team is a critical component to the sales team and is designed to display an indepth knowledge about Juniper and industry security products and solutions.REQUIREMENTS • 7 year's general networking industry experience with LAN switches routers and associated protocols• Experience selling and supporting Enterprise based networking infrastructures• Strong understanding and knowledge of TCPIP Switching protocols BGP ISIS OSPF MPLS IPv6 Multicast VPNs QoS and security• Ability to communicate both oral and written on complex technical and sales issues to a variety of audiences including executive level technical decisionmakers• JNCIE certification desirableWhat we are offeringWe strive to make life at Juniper a compelling and empowering experience that attracts people to do their best work.
