Brief Posting Description
We are currently recruiting for a Proposals Delivery Manager on a permanent basis located at our office in Abu Dhabi UAE. The successful candidate will provide leadership and management of the MER ERC Proposals team and coordinates all ongoing proposals activity across the region and acts as the focal point between the various support offices including Aberdeen Dehli Moscow Sakhalin amp Atyrau. In addition this role will oversee the day to day management of all proposals activity the candidate will also be required to deliver on the key challenges below
Detailed Description
IMPROVE PERFORMANCE amp DELIVERY
Define the level of support required from the Technical and Operational functions both in region and in Aberdeen to successfully deliver winning bids
Define the local process and procedure required to deliver bids effectively including definition of the roles and responsibilities of the wider regional team including the roll out of the Pursuit manager role and formalisation of the handbook
Demonstrate an improvement in BA delivery performance during 2014 which will be achieved by further developing and rollout the Proposals delivery improvement plan
INNOVATION
Create a regional knowledge hub library of robust responses to regional? bid questions this will entail the facilitation of various working sessions think tanks with regional technical and management team and Aberdeen to develop new or rework regional tender responses out with the tender process
In addition the role will be accountable for the following
Manage the delivery of highquality and differentiating proposals for MER ERC
Ensuring WGPSN proposals reflects the Company?s core values
Responsible to establish and embed the overall proposals function in the Abu Dhabi office to support MER ERC
Responsible to manage the implementation an effective online and offline file management systems regional Knowledge hub
Conduct lessons learned session to identify and capture any opportunities for improvement
Deliver on the MER ERC Proposals improvement plan
Support with the development of Win Strategies covering bid execution commercial and resourcing strategies
Liaison with MER operations and functions to ensure support is available for execution strategy development proposal reviews and other proposal requirements
Work with BD to minimise the number of unforeseen proposals and maximise the time allowed for proposal development
Adherence to corporate standardspractices and generation of local processes and procedures that are consistent with higher level frameworks i.e. SAM RSAM MIDAS etc
Establishing and managing inregion performance standards
Support Business Development in any post tender clarificationsnegotiations as required
Support the preparation of customer presentations
Job Requirements
Technical Business Skills
Good understanding of the WGPSN business is the main requirement and either business services management or project engineering management background would be equally acceptable for the right candidate
Interpersonal Skills
Dynamic nature with a proactive approach to solving problems good communication skills and ability to manage change and multiple activities and interfaces. Must be resilient and able to work well under pressure.
Competencies
Good general understanding of the WGPSN business and capability.

Business amp Industry Experience
Individual who has ideally been in the business for more than 8 years and with previous experience in BA commercialtechnical team is advantageous

Educated to degree level would be beneficial but not essential
Minimum Experience
810 years in OampG business environment preferably within the company
