• Legal research and production of briefs and reports on matters affecting refugees in Jordan and Syria.
• Provision of trainings to NRC staff and relevant partners on legal and regulatory matters as they pertain to NRC and its targets. Development of training materials for use in such sessions.
• Coordination of external partner relationships with local organisations, privately contracted lawyers and the Bar Association.
• Oversight of legal information and counselling activities undertaken with local partner organisations.
• Regularly meet with partners to review case progress and evaluate quality and appropriateness of legal services provided.
• Ensure partner organisations fully comply with agreed case management and client handling procedures.
