The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will play a critical role in supporting the financial activities of the organization.
To be responsible in supporting the Finance Dept in the annual planning and long-range planning process, understanding of key business drivers and creating analyses that support decision making within the Organization. The position will deliver value-added business analyses as well as define and report meaningful financial and operational metrics. The ideal candidate must be assertive, self-directed, innovative and driven by details.
Responsible in the monitoring of budgets and preparation of monthly deviation analysis.
Responsible for monthly generation of budget available balance report to be disseminated to various departments, school or the budget holders
Assist the Director of Finance in analyzing, understanding the monthly and quarterly financial results of the organization operating performance trends, actual vs forecast, and key metrics. Provides valued added insight on the results.
Assist the Director of Finance in the preparation of annual financial budget, collaborating with various departments, cost center unit in the data gathering analysis and consolidation of data.
Review monthly and quarterly forecasts and provide proactive feedback based upon external and internal trends
Manage process to track and analyze results relating to the Organization initiatives.
Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and participate in operational projects to support the Organization.
Assist in optimizing the financial resources of the organization, ensuring idle funds are invested in investment portfolios that will protect the interest of the company, yield high interest returns and guarantee the principal investment of the company ( Org. Savings Scheme, Gratuity portfolios, budget surplus, endowment funds etc.)
Responsible for the preparation of indirect cost recovery invoice for Research Grants Contract awarded to the organization in collaboration with the Research and Grants Director and other reportorial requirements mandated by the local or international agency or organization.
Any other related responsibilities as may be deemed by the management or any other tasks to be performed
