To act on behalf of the organization in the capacity of lead competent person in the area of Medical Equipment Management and additionally to provide support in other areas including HVAC and Electrical Services in the management of non-medical equipment and plant. To manage the performance and execution of repairs, services, safety testing, installation, commissioning and planned preventative maintenance of all healthcare technology equipment in accordance with current standards, codes and procedures. The technology used within the organizations facilities are both technologically advanced and varied and it is therefore essential that medical devices and associated equipment are safe and reliable and that they operate at the required level of performance in support of quality care. Equipment is to be serviced and maintained to the highest of standards to ensure that they continue to function in a safe and efficient manner. The successful candidate will hold full responsibility for, and act as competent person and lead engineer to other classified staff in this area and perform all related work as required.
