The “Trade Finance Development Program” is concerned with the development of fresh graduates to obtain the basic required skills and knowledge in Trade Finance, including an introduction to BSF and the banking industry and products. Fresh graduates are also expected to acquire the appropriate skills that enable them to use different systems, and will go through intensive technical and soft skills development (i.e. stress and time management) through our dedicated BSF Academy.
Program Objectives:
- Develop relevant generic skills and knowledge.
- Trade finance required technical skills and knowledge as per the job requirement.
- Build employees’ confidence and maturity in their new roles.
- Enhance the overall readiness of being a productive team member.
Program Core Competencies:
There are six key competencies that will be considered during the delivery of the program:
- Understanding the Marketplace and Trade Finance related risks and ways to mitigate these risks.
- Understanding Products and associated ICC rules such as UCPDC 600, URC 522, ISP 98, ISBP 745.
- Using BSF Systems in general such as SWIFT, IPP and Trade Finance Department related systems in particular i.e BankTrade, Loan Portal, Dedicated LG Printer.
