Carry out duties as Lead Discipline Engineer when assigned this role on any particular project, as follows:
o Assist Project Engineers / Managers with the assessment of discipline engineering resource requirements for the project.
o Assign and co-ordinate the work-load of discipline resources allocated to the project
o Monitor discipline resource levels allocated and report any shortage or excess.
o Determine what verification needs to be done to ensure that work undertaken by the discipline resources allocated is error free and ensure that allowance is made for the time and resources considered necessary for this.
o Ensure every document generated by the discipline resources allocated is prepared, checked and approved in accordance with the Company’s quality management systems.
o Review and approve discipline project designs and deliverables as meeting code and regulation compliance and/or acceptable engineering practice.
o Take responsibility for the quality of engineering work generated by the discipline resources allocated.
