As a Product Marketing Director you will be a part of Low Voltage Division based in Riyadh. ABB provides a full range of low voltage solutions to connect protect control and measure a wide range of electrical installations enclosures switchboards electronics and electromechanical devices. The business improves the reliability and efficiency of its customers’ activities across all major industries including the residential sector.
Tasks
As a Product Marketing Director you will be responsible for the following tasks
1. Creating plans and ensuring implementation of the local goto–market product marketing strategy including definition and communication of product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.
2. Ensuring achievement of established targets through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed and focus on achievement of Total Demand Orders ABB and 3rd Party Growth Margin Percentage Net Price Variance Net Promoter Score NPS Inventory turn on finished goods and Requested OnTime Delivery.
3. Developing and implementing annual marketing plan in conjunction with relevant Business UnitsProduct Groups.
4. Preparing business plans focused on business development for a defined market evaluating market opportunities and decide appropriate activities in line with the strategy.
5. Coordinating opportunities across local Divisions and local Business Units where appropriate.
6. Establishing profitable business growth in the domestic market.
7. Maintaining a balanced growth through all product lines Product Groups PGs Business Units BUs.
8. Producing demand through technical promotion providing solutions and a value base selling approach Implement BU market pricing policy.
9. Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
10. Understanding customer need in the market by visiting customers and ensuring the customer satisfaction surveys are executed analyze results and assist on corrective actions.
11.Developing and implementing product support and product training to ensure high customer satisfaction in cooperation with BU Global Marketing and Sales.
12. Working together with Order Handling team and Logistics team to ensure operational efficiency on inventory and customer satisfaction on delivery.
13. Implementing HSE and business compliance standards and regulations in the country in the area of responsibility.
14. Applying and ensuring compliance with global and local standards rules tools policies and processes related to operationsproject execution and share functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
15. Managing the area of responsibility is properly organized staffed and directed building an effective capable and high performing organization developing talent appointing managers and reviewing effectiveness.
Requirements
Ideally you’ll hold an Electrical Engineering Degree from a wellknown University with 8 10 years of experience in product development role of similar business.
