Senior Mechanical Engineer:
A leading Engineering consultant company in Qatar look forward for an energetic Mechanical Engineer with proven GCC experience in the same filed.
Working as Mechanical Design Engineer in our Design Division, you will be responsible for developing sustainable building services designs on numerous major projects including commercial, residential, tall tower and mixed-use developments.
This position requires a qualified engineer with knowledge of ventilation and air conditioning systems and a successful track record of delivering detailed designs to the highest international standards.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:
Performing engineering evaluations, feasibility studies, conceptual and final design, cost estimates, and engineering calculations.
Researching, planning, designing and developing sustainable mechanical systems, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing and gas distribution systems.
Preparation of mechanical engineering calculations in support of systems design.
Evaluating and analyzing statistical data, customer design proposals, specifications and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
Evaluating design drawings and calculations for HVAC, plumbing components, piping and mechanical systems to satisfy target requirements throughout the design process and contribute to content and direction.
Working knowledge of various building services design codes such as British Standards, ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, IMC and other International design codes.
Extensive knowledge of Mechanical construction techniques, procedures, British and American codes and standards.
Expertise in all aspects of mechanical engineering within construction, including HVAC, fire protection, plumbing and drainage, and underground utilities.
Qualification & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Grade 'A' from UPDA - Qatar
• Minimum 10 years of related GCC experience.
• Professional registration with a relevant international engineering body or equivalent is an advantage.
