The Role
A top global power company with a strong presence across the Middle East has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Engineer electrical products to join their expanding team in Saudi Arabia.
You will be reporting to the Group Sales Director. You are responsible for project related issues which may include offers and submissions. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets and maximizing sales from new and existing customers. You will also be expected to influence across the value chain including specifiers contractors and distributors in order to maximize revenue streams. You must be able to work in a fast paced environment. You will provide technical backup and commissioning support for the ongoing projects and effectively manage the design and implementation of the project to ensure profitability smooth completion and handover. You will also be expected to liaise with the local authorities to ensure approvals are obtained in a timely manner. You will also have to be able to cooperate with other departments capably.
Requirements
To be considered for this role you must have BABEng or Diploma in Electrical engineering or other relevant discipline. With extensive experience in direct sales of electrical products ideally with previous Saudi Arabian experience. You will have a strong influencing repertoire and impeccable communication skills. You should have previous exposure to UPS systems and experience getting products specified and of dealing with major international companies. The client would prefer an Arabic speaking as it is to be based in Riyadh.
