Package Manager Viaducts

Job Requirements Relevant degree or equivalent qualification Chartered Engineer Preferable 10 to 15 years project engineering experience on Segmental Bridge projects Highway Rail viaducts with associated commercial and contractual experience. Ideally candidate will also have an understanding of related rail systems disciplines. 5 or more years acting as projectpackagedesign manager on bridge engineering or related rail structure projects. Role is based in the Riyadh project management team colocated with the Client Contractor. Principal Accountabilities Manage and coordinate multidiscipline engineering activities to ensure projects are executed in a safe efficient cost effective and timely manner reporting to the Project Manager. Act as primary technical coordination interface with Client to ensure that the Client’s expectations are satisfied. This includes interfacing to obtain the Clients construction related inputs and priorities and communicate to the design team. Manage delivery of design to cost and programme working inconjunction with international Design Centres and their design management teams. Discuss and gain approval of the design from Client and PMC. Ensure the project conforms to the client’s approved plan and all applicable regulatory and code requirements. Client Relationships Maintains and builds healthy client relationships. Proactively resolves performance scope and schedule issues with the Client as they arise. Identifies documents communicates as required to meet the Client’s requirements. Scope Management Compliance with requirements of the contract and monitoringcontrol of resources against budget. Effective change control process application. Team Management Focuses team on achievement of milestones and other key project objectives. Listens to the team discusses the issues resolves problems and directs activities to remove roadblocks and achieve objectives Design Package Management Sets clear objectives to the design team including achieving productivity and budget targets. Ensures design team aware of and complies with applicable regulations and codes. Manages interdiscipline interfaces effectively.
