An excellent expat package comes with this great staff job opportunity!SummaryTo provide required Inspection Engineering QAQC Support to Manufacturing facilities in order to help maintain the facility safety reliability and profitability.Ensures the safety standards are met by Inspection Team at all times.To lead a team of QAQC engineers and Lead Inspectors of Mechanical Electrical and Civil disciplines in accordance with industry standards.Develop Fabrication Quality Assurance Quality control procedures and implement them through issued and executed Inspection Test Plans manage welder qualifications process in compliance with ASME Section IX standard guidelines.ResponsibilitiesReports to Section head QAQC and oversee and manage all QAQC activities by the Lead Inspectors in project sites and shops. Ensures that AIMDQAQC will attend all project kickoff meetings developreview Inspection Test Plans and implement in a timely manner.Ensures that Failure Rates are monitored and investigated for root cause and remedial recommendations are offered in a timely mannerEnforce strict compliance to Industry codes and standards related to Fabrication Engineering as per project specifications.Review major QAQC Failures Investigate for Root Cause in order to uplift Standard of Workmanship and Fabrication Quality.Review and assess the effectiveness of QAQC procedures and initiate necessary revisions.Implement cost saving activities as per Section's cost saving plan and manage the sectional operation cost with due diligence.Ensure assigned Section's engineering Tasks meet corporate safety and environmental policy and standards in order to minimize risk of industrial injuries and unwanted incidentsConduct performance reviews of subordinates and liaise with Human Resources to conduct staff development program and training needs to further enhance individual potential and contribution to the overall company's performanceExecute improvement need on the manufacturing facilities for more safety and competitive plants through trouble shooting engineering work request CAPEX and other means under the assigned unit.Carry out any specific assigned tasks by the company department on timely and effective manner and achieve the required results with best efforts and team work spirits.Minimum RequirementsEducationExperience Bachelor degree 4year fulltime course in Mechanical Chemical Metallurgical Corrosion Engineering from a reputable university At least 12 years of professional experience in operational refineries andor petrochemical plants of which at least 5 years in technical supervisory positions in the field of Projects Quality Assurance Quality Control Weld Quality Management and Material Inspections Specific Knowledge Business Understanding Excellent knowledge in welding material compositions properties and heat treatment is required.
