The Role

Kentz currently has a requirement for a Senior Project Engineer initially to be based outside Washington for the first year then moving to Saudi Arabia to oversee key installation and commissioning phases of the project.
Responsibilities
Ensure that project team is well informed motivated and working effectively and efficiently.Will be appointed to assist in the management by the Operations Manager. Responsible to the Project Manager for the successful execution of assigned work. Successfully able to liaise with vendor to ensure technical design integrity and schedule assurance. Will have control of the manpower on all assigned works and shall liaise directly with the Project Manager for manning and demanning of technical staff. Shall be able to interface with the Client’s engineers for the project and ensure that all reasonable requests are met. Keep project on schedule.Keep control of manhours overtime. Keep track of efficiency productivity.Ensure inputs to weekly and monthly progress reports.Monitor extra work and claims and advise Project Manager. Oversee key installation and commissioning phases.

Requirements
Education and Skills
• Candidate must have strong specialised telecoms experience preferably VSAT and their associated controls.
• Bachelors Degree in an Engineering Discipline
• 58 years Experience as a Project Engineer in a construction environment
• Strong Project Engineer Project Management skills also a major advantage.
