The PGS Performance Engineering organization is a global team of 150 people with representation in over 11 countries that are responsible for the



Global strategy to improve the performance of the GE Power Generation fleet.



Establishment of performance quoting guidelines for all PGS GT amp ST equipment and overall CC plant guarantees for PGS.



Technical support to the sales and ITO teams on performance related deals.



Development of methods for performance risk mitigation for PGS.



Execution of all field performance tests globally for PGP amp PGS.



Management of OTR performance risk for both PGP amp PGS.



Support of performance related PAC cases.



Performance management of installed base under long term service agreements

Support functions of sales ITO applications and product service on all performance related items.



Align the global Performance Engineering and Regional strategies goals and objectives and drive implementation.



Lead regional forecasting efforts to enable timely hiring of performance resources to support current and future business needs. Align regional needs with global business needs.



Support resource management team in the assignment of field resources and optimization of the time and productivity of the engineers.



Support the development of performance technical methods and training programs designed to improve the quality and productivity of the organization.



Own the technical competency model for the regional performance engineering team.



Support the development and drive the implementation of the team's QMS and Operating Guidelines in the region.



Support the development and implementation of productivity and simplification projects.QualificationsRequirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college



Technical background in Gas amp Steam Turbine technology and power plant operations in simple and combined cycles



Minimum 5 years leadership experience in engineering power generation designservices or performance engineering.



Able to interface effectively with all levels of a global organization and external customers.Additional Eligibility Qualifications Desired Characteristics

Experience in the design modeling or thermal performance testinganalysis of Gas Turbines Steam Turbines or Combined Cycle plants.

Experience in managing a diverse team spread across multiple locations within the region.

Ability to plan communicate and execute
