The Enterprise Architect role will partner with business functions and IT leadership teams across EAGM and South Asia to proactively identify opportunities to add value through IT and define related solutions working closely with relevant architects and experts globally.Essential Responsibilities
Collaborate with CIO teams to maintain strategic plans for ITbased business capabilities and enabling technologies that create competitive advantage for GEHC in EAGM amp South Asia regions.
Define enterprise application system roadmaps and associated processes that support business imperatives such as growth simplification cost productivity and quality
Drive enterprise standards around data management integration and systems interoperability
Produces documented application frameworks or architectures
Provides input into the technology plan for IT organization and ensures that related applications integrate effectively with other aspects of the global technology infrastructure and roadmap
Advises on application and supporting technology purchases and deployment with ability to scale globally influencing global process standardization and simplified IT systems footprint.
Develop standard design practices artifacts repositories etc. for ITPE to improve solution effectiveness and cycletime.
Increase technical expertise of the organization by educating and mentoring employees
Continuously strengthen own technical and business capabilities expertise through formal education engaging external consultants networking with external and other GE experts reading trade publications etc.QualificationsRequirements
Experience in architecting global largescale applications which span multiple countries and business units with special focus on architecture for emerging markets
Breadth of experience across multiple infrastructureapplication business domains. Experience must go beyond IT and include ITbusiness alignment IT planning IT organization redesign Enterprise Architecture. Ability to develop both business and technology solutions.
Must have IT Project implementation experience team member or leadership
Technical acumen ability to learn technologies outside current areas of expertise
Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously and partner with global technology leaders in architecting and deploying business solutions
Indepth knowledge and experience in leading and developing enterprise architecture across functions domains and geographies.
Drive to learn new technology and build indepth expertise
Ability to interact at all levels within the organization in a professional diplomatic and collaborative manner with excellent written amp verbal communication skills.
Analytic creative and businessfocused problem solver
BS Degree in Information Systems Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent experience
Minimum 10 years IT experienceAdditional Eligibility Qualifications Desired Characteristics
Certified Enterprise Architect in TOGAF or Zachman or similar frameworks
Experience of organizational Transformation programs strategic sourcing work involving global delivery
