Manage the workshop as separate business unit
Ensure proper upkeep of all Heavy Earth Moving Equipment including Light vehicles and Generator sets for their reliability and availability for operation.
Main Duties Responsibilities
•Manage the operational and fiscal activities of the BU to include staffing levels budgets and financial goals.
•Plan and develope systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the BU.
•Defined the goals and objectives of the BU and ensured their delivery in accordance with business plan.
•Develop and manage budget of the BU and achieved stand – alone quality and productivity during the execution of existing projects.
•Maintaine and develope effective delivery of competitive and high quality service to existing projects.
•Manage the performance of managers and staff through effective key performance indicators targets and goal settings.
•Coached and provided career development advice to staff.
•Responsible for staff scheduling to include work assignmentsrotations employee training employee vacations employee breaks overtime assignment backup for absent employees and shift rotations.
•Assist staff to resolve complex or out of policy operation problems.
•Analyze and assesse the BU performance against the stated objectives.
•Recruite and traine key hires to implement business plan.
•BuilD develope and maintaine solid contacts and strong relationship with suppliers subcontractors and agencies.
•Plan schedule and execute maintenance of all equipment.
•Condition monitoring of equipment and their maintenance to reduce break down.
•Attending break down equipment for their early repair.
•Proper planning for spares parts for maintaining optimum inventory and control.
Skills
•Experience in Constraction Industry..
•Object Oriented Programming skills.
•Knowledge and use of PC hardware and software.
•Expertise in systems analysis.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
