ABOUT THIS JOB- This position forms part of Baker Hughes initiative of expanding its industryleading Application Engineering capabilities to provide superior technical expertise to our clients.
- The individual must be a team player with strong problem solving skills and an effective communicator capable of presenting technical recommendation both internally amp to the clients' Engineering Teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESACCOUNTABILITIES- Perform predeployment planning to include BHA design torque amp drag calculations hydraulics optimization Well planning hazard identification communication of best practices amp risk mitigation recommendations.
- Analyze all relevant information and proactively communicate recommendations to improve overall drilling efficiency.
- Capture lessons learned and feed back into the planning and drilling phases.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSREQUIREMENTS- Science Degree standard in Engineering or GeoScience based discipline.
- 45 years oil field experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSREQUIREMENTS- Minimum of 23 years' experience in Application Engineering with Drilling and Bit applications.
- Selfmotivated individuals with strong technical background. Good communication amp problem solving skills. Team interaction combined with proactive and selfmotivated approach
