Regional Manager Makkah/Medinah
Role Description
Responsible for all work to be performed in the entire Makkah/Madinah region. Temporarily, he will also be responsible for respective Maritime part along the west coast of KSA.
He is acting as the representative of the Project Director in the Makkah/Medinah region and will strongly be supported from the central Project Management Office in Riyadh.
He will report directly to the Project Director.
His main areas of responsibility and duties are:
• Responsible for the full capability integration of all deliverables (respective engineering, system rollout, respective training, warranty, services) in the Maritime area.
• Communicating, managing, Monitoring and safeguarding the schedule of the respective deliverables and services
• Acts as interface to the stakeholders in particular the regional managers
• Be the focal point for all issues within his area of responsibility towards the customer as well as towards any other Stakeholders and Domains
• Acceptance of the respective deliverables (i.e. towers, sites, training capabilities, services)
• Management together with the Domain heads of the Regional Technical Support Teams
• He has to work in a cooperative style with the various disciplines and the responsible managers.
• His main duty is to ensure the achievement of the Full Capability Integration aspect
Key Responsibilities
• Ensures the delivery schedule in the Makkah/Madinah region.
• Temporarily, ensuring the progress along the west coast of KSA exceeding Makkah/Madinah
• Ensure that all Makkah/Madinah based work packages are managed, controlled and reported according to the direction of the Project Director and that any/all deviations to T/C/P are communicated and recovery plans put in place.
• Maximises the opportunities for synergies and savings across work packages.
• Assists in relevant project reviews
• Acts as home-project-manager for all Makkah/Madinah based project staff
Education
• Master / Advanced degree in Business administration or
• Master degree in computer sciences and communications or
• Master degree in technical engineering or similar
Practical experience
• 5-10 years Project Management for complex technical projects preferably abroad
• Extensive experience in an highly customer oriented environment
• Implementation of administrative processes
• Experience in Maritime Operations and technologies e.g. AIS, sensors, response and rescue
• Deep understanding of interdisciplinary project organisation
• Deep Knowledge of project management tools/processes desirable in particular scheduling (MS projects) and WBS, Scheduling, EVM, Reporting
• Significant experience in leading multi cultural teams
