Senior Estimator Mechanical Electrical
Responsibilities
• Preparing all types of estimates from inception to completion and review
• Preparing estimates of certain disciplines or trades
• Forecasting and monitoring work packages and contracts
• Advising on construction methods and engineering economics
• Proposing units to be used and preparing the justification for their use
• Evaluating and recommending allowances for design unknowns escalation and contingency and fee structure to the department
• Obtaining approval of unit costs to be used content of analysis and reports from the project control manager or department manager.
Cost Engineering
• Researching on cost productivity trends
• Evaluating scope changes contract values cost trend impacts field orders and tradeoff studies.
Requirements
• University degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering with a minimum of 10 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education
• Significant estimating experience in the Engineering field
• Experience with Saudi Aramco Engineering Project experience required
• Proficiency in corporate approved software related to estimating
• Proficiency in a variety of estimating methods and techniques
• General understanding of schedules.
