Project Manager


The Project Manager is the customer’s main point of contact for project engagements and will spend a majority of their time dedicated to managing project schedules deliverables and resources within resource constraints while managing customer expectations.



Job Duties include but not limited to

•Deliver projects that meet Customer expectations on time and within defined performance ratios.

•Develop the project plan and project deliverables to ensure resources and information required to do the work are available utilized effectively and efficiently and issues are proactively addressed.

•Manage the scope of the project changes to the project deliverables and scheduling issues while ensuring customer satisfaction profitability and technical compliance.

•Define and manage project Estimate to Complete. Manage resource effort and provide input into monthly revenue recognition process.

•Communicate regularly with the customer to ensure a common understanding of project status and to deal with issues promptly and adequately.

•Drive solutions for the customer outside of the original scope by identifying upsell opportunities and driving additional revenue as it relates to ensuring customer satisfaction.

•Provide team leadership through appropriate decision making to keep projects on track and ensure that the team members are aware of the ‘big picture’ of the project implementations.

•Provide feedback and mentorship to team members and foster a collaborative team environment.

•Manage performance reviews and career development. Staff projects to ensure high resource utilization. Perform forecasting and financial reporting for their respective backlog and projects. Ensure corporate policies and procedures are communicated to and understood by the team.

•Assist with sales related activities such as proposals presentations contracts and statements of work.

Experience

•58 years of Project Management experience within a Software Solution Environment.

•Background in Consulting or Professional Services is considered an asset.



Technical Skills

•Strong working knowledge of project management foundations including scope management time management risk management human resources management communications management and quality management.

•Strong working knowledge of project management software such as Microsoft Project

•Technically competent in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Word.

•Familiar with Business intelligence and data warehouse solutions



Education

•Bachelors or equivalent degree in a business technical or related field

•Project Management Professional PMP certification
