Manager ECommerce Systems and Operations

Job Description



Responsible for the solution development management of implementation delivery analysis and the day to day operations of company site mobile and other ecommerce solutions for the airline in order to ensure that Al Maha Airways is perceived as a leader in the field of B2C solutions amongst its peer group of airlines and to deliver innovative products on time and budget.



Support the management and implementation of online policies procedures and payment solutions as well as manage the customer service solution design for ECommerce.



Accountabilities

Strategy Formulation

Development of the required infrastructure required to support the Product Development strategy for Al Maha Airways.

Drive and project manage the implementation of the Product Development strategy.

Drive the delivery of the products and services with the aim to improve customer service while at the same time minimising overheads in call centres and reservation offices

Ongoing competitive analysis and monitoring of industry trends to ensure Al Maha Airways tools services are industry leading.



Management and Operations

Establish business processes to ensure Ecommerce strategies are operationalised within the organisation globally.

Formation of crossdepartmental teams to ensure Ecommerce initiatives are planned shared and requirements and buy is obtained from all relevant departments.

Oversee the implementation of Ecommerce product development strategy for the airline

Manage the Esolutions team comprising a team of managers and specialists for individual product lines

Lead the business analysis requirement gathering for ECommerce.

Manage the ECommerce product lines covering project planningmanagement testing timely launch and quality delivery assurance.

Support customer servicing operations by using feedback provided to enhance product delivery to customers.



Leadership

Organise workshops and training to ensure information dissemination and knowledge transfer with the field

Management of external vendor relationships

Spearhead new ECommerce technology initiatives to create awareness and ultimately buyin.

Ensure change management in operational units required to adopt new technologies

Work with the stations to ensure product development plans are agreed and priorities according to overall airline priorities



Budgeting and Controlling

Support the development of business cases to support the development of new functionality.

Leading the RFP processes to ensure Ecommerce technologies and services meet requirements.

Planning budgeting and management of the entire EcommerceIT development budget

Business owner of the tendering processes of ECommerce systems and solutions.

Continuously monitor the recurring and transaction based fees on all applications to suggest alternative pricing models
