Our client a leading Airline Cargo Company with operations across the globe is looking to recruit a Director of Fleet Operations for their global head office in the United Arab Emirates. Reporting into the Vice President of Operations the role will be responsible for managing the fleet performance of circa 15 aircrafts including both own and external fleet arrangements ensuring fleet are highly reliable and well maintained with a reliability of 95 or higher. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing fleet arrangements performance and maintenance to ensure the high level service is achieved.
Who we39re looking for
In order to be considered for this position you must come from the Airline industry with experience of managing own and external leased aircraft. The successful profile must possess a bachelors within a relevant speciality. The ideal candidate must be dogmatic and go through service providers to achieve the best reliability at the best possible price. Excellent English is a must and you should be a first class communicator verbal and written who can effectively manage relationships. A hand on management style is required and the individual should be a strong negotiator with an eye for detail and impeccable analytical skills.
