Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company SABCO has worked as the management services contractor MSC directly with our client the Saudi Arabian Royal Commission for the last 30 years. We are the Engineering Procurement and Construction managers managing design submissions from local AE firms contract and procurement management and overseeing all construction works being performed by local contractors and subcontractors in Jubail Industrial City.
Projects we are actively involved with in Jubail include new residential communities petrochemical industrial zone site preparation various commercial buildings and structures mosques schools hospitals sports facilities clinics a new 30000 student university utility services and infrastructure electrical substations lift stations roads and highways port amp pipeline expansions and more.
Position Project Engineer for Infrastructure
Duties amp Responsibilities
Review and comment on design and drawing packages prepared by AEs.
Coordinate between disciplines and departments and return review comments on submittals by the AE's and Industries for new contract packages and plants or plant expansion designs.
Coordinate changes in design to support construction.
Prepare DCN's. Review and ensure quality of AE submittals.
Utilize computer and computer codes to review designs performed by AE's.
Provide support to Construction Department and disposition of field changes by issuing DCNs and SCNs.
Review update and prepare revisions to Guideline Specifications Manuals and Design Criteria.
Review proposed land allocation plans for new and existing industries expansion for compliance with Royal Commission Master Plan and availability of support utilities.
Perform general activities such as preparation of studies reports and bid packages related to pipeline corridors and associated work.
Skills amp Experience
College Graduate with BS in Civil Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
Substantial experience in the analysis and design of concrete structures steel structures temporary works and coordination of multidiscipline designs and teams. Alternatively if mechanical engineer substantial experience in piping design or plant layout.
Proven experience in field construction andor operation of heavy industrial plants petrochemical plants or refineries.
Sufficient knowledge of computers to monitor schedule of work and track completion of outstanding design issues.
Knowledge of pipe corridors crossover structures and temporary works design.
