The Civil Engineer will be responsible for the following duties
•Provide engineering and project management service
•Develop master plans for construction projects and site layouts
•Conduct engineering site assessments to determine suitability for operational purposes safety and efficiency of structures and equipment
•Prepare tender specifications for the supply andor maintenance of the site and its equipment
•Supervise and ensure that works done by contractors are performed promptly and according to specifications
•Supervise support staff involved in site management provide training and technical guidance in their work
•Understand the design drawings and specifications and site requirements
•Make sure that civil works are undertaken in accordance with the approved proceduresspecifications and that construction is made in accordance with the approved construction drawings.
•Documentation of project activities and monitortabulate all structural civil works.
•Preparation of accomplishment reportprogress report development affecting progress of works such as change orders field meetings action taken and verification of details.
•Preparation and understanding of submittals.
•Provide assistance in planning coordinating and participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and review its organization scheduling and implementation.
•Supervise subcontractors work activities.
•Preparation of AsBuilt Drawings.
•Review and follow all safety requirements
•Plan organize and arrange all the resources required for successful completion of the project as per drawings specification within the time frame and budget.
Skills
•Candidate should be a qualified Civil Engineer.
•At least 7 years of postgraduate professional experience in the construction industry.
•Strong technical background and practical experience in project planning scheduling contracting and delivery of project.
•Excellent communication skills.
•Computer literate.
•Candidate should have good knowledge working in Villas Building projects etc.
