Account Executive Energy Natural Resources Saudi Arabia

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Account Executive AE identifies qualifies and sells SAP products and services to customers and prospects within their assigned market sectors while maintaining successful relationships with clients beyond the initial software sale.

The evolving software solutions market place requires an AE who can challenge the strategy and buying cycle of the customer and present a credible level of technology expertise.



EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly interact with customers and prospects to position the value of SAP's Solutions and Services as supported by ROI business case development references and supporting analyst data.

Assemble prepare and manage the Virtual Account Team consisting of Solution Consultant Customer Engagement Managers Strategic Partners and other relevant roles so that SAP's solutions are well positioned in the account.

Prospect new companies as potential customers of SAP's solutions utilizing the SAP's Telemarketing group and submission of RFP’s and RFI’s as appropriate.

Pursue professional and personal development to ensure adequate knowledge of the markets and industries SAP serves as well as the products and services SAP provides.

Update on a timely basis SAP's CRM system with accurate customer and pipeline information. Timely and complete administrative tasks like expense reports etc.

Support participation in SAP promotions such as SAPPHIRE SUGMENA Customer Solution Days and Info Days as well as independent industry initiatives.



MAINTAIN CRM RECORDS

Obtain and review CRM Account Executive Training Guide.

Maintain contact and mailing lists including customer satisfaction survey contacts.

Update acting reference data.



WORK EXPERIENCE

Ideally you will have 5 years experience in enterprise application software sales or similar and a demonstrated history of achieving large targets in application software revenue.





Skills


EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONSSKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

You will have a strong technical background gained in I.T consulting presales or development.

Highly motivated entrepreneurial individual and the ability to create networks quickly within a highly complex global organization.

Must be a sales professional with an ethical approach and strong personal values.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
