- Proven potentialactual supervisory ability in a high tempo aircraft maintenance delivery driven environment with experience in Data Management on fastjet aircraft preferably Typhoon.
- Must be educated to OHNC level or recognised equivalent or have relevant experience supported by formal recorded workplace applied related training.
- Must have successfully completed a recognised aircraft engineering apprenticeship or similar practical aircraft maintenance training programme delivered by a NATO air force or approved aircraft maintenance training provider.
- Appropriate post qualification experience of military fast jet maintenance support at a certifying position.
- Experience working as a supervisor within a Data Management environment teaching tradesmen how to maintain engineering and maintenance records for Typhoon aircraft in Line Forward Maintenance.

- Currently working in an aircraft maintenance organisation conducting or supporting data management Line Forward or Depth Maintenance of military fastjets Typhoon preferred.
- Proven track record of training aircraft maintainers maintaining military fast jet aircraft Typhoon preferred.
- Good man management and people development competencies. Management experience with proven ability to supervise junior engineering personnel.
- High level of interpersonal skill to coordinate a large number of diverse and complex activities and the ability to communicate influence and direct the decision making process at all levels. Experience of multi–tasking to manage a diverse range of engineering and management activities.
- Demonstrable experience working as a supervisor conducting Data Management on a busy military operational flying unit.
- Experience as a mentor coach or instructor in an aircraft maintenance data management environment.
