The Role:
A GCC based Tire Company is looking to hire an experienced Tire Production Manager to oversee its tire production business. The role of a Tire Production Manager is a senior position that covers all aspects relating to the development, production, and procurement of tires using the Company’s proprietary tire moulds at a contract manufacturing facility based in Asia.
More specifically the role will entail but not be limited to the following major activities and tasks:
1. Engaging a contract manufacturing facility:
Identifying, negotiating and finalizing a contract with a tire manufacturing facility in Asia.
2. Developing the annual production plan:
Finalizing the type, quantity, pricing, as well as the schedule for the production of tires, and preparing a professional planning deliverable.
3. Executing the annual production plan:
Taking ownership and accountability on delivering the approved annual production plan.
4. Reporting on the execution of the production plan
Preparing and providing detailed periodic reports on the status of the approved annual production plan.
5. Expanding the product set in conjunction with Company’s Technical Partner:
Managing the Company’s Technical Partner in developing new tire moulds for the Company as and when required.
6. Supporting the sales & distribution team:
Assisting in the development of the sales & distribution plans for the Company’s products as and when required.
7. Supporting the business development efforts:
Representing the Company and its products at trade fairs and in front of its major customers as and when required.
