Parsons along with Systra and Egis has been proposed as the Project Construction Management consultant for the implementation of Riyadh Metro Project. Riyadh Metro is a mega project in the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a signature project for Parsons. This metro project is a prestigious one for the Kingdom and will be a signature rail project within the GCC like the Dubai Metro Project. At 181Km of Metro network and 131 transit stations it will be the backbone of a transportation network for the capital city. The ADA has approved a SR100 Billion budget for a rail network to be developed in the city within four years. The project is lumped into three packages and will go to construction simultaneously
Job Description
Investigate field problems affecting property owners contractors and maintenance operations due to necessary utility relocations. Review and approve plans related to the relocation of water supply and wastewater collection and distribution lines. Coordinate assigned activities with consultants engineers developers contractors utility companies other government offices and the civil defense. Develop plans specifications quantity survey cost estimates RFP’s and other contract documents as needed. Prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials. Reviews supplier drawing submittals and performs technical bid analyses. Prepares and issues specifications data sheets and other construction documents. Provides technical guidance to CAD DesignerDrafters Designers and lowerlevel Engineers working on the same project. May be required to provide the seal and signature of the professional engineer as appropriate ensuring compliance with all applicable codes regulations and ordinances. May act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on engineering related matters.
