My client is a leading global contractor specialise in heavy civil construction and engineering in the fields of building infrastructure oil and gas and petrochemical etc. They are currently undertaking a massive metro project and urgently seeking an experienced Risk Manager to be based in Riyadh.
Reporting to the Project Director the Risk Manager will be responsible for management supervision and implementation of corporate and project requirements of risk management.
Main responsibilities
- Development and implementation of RM documentation at both Corporate and Project levels.
- Identify Strategic Operational Financial and Management Risks.
- Develop and maintain Business Risk Register.
- Support Management of Risk Business at Company and Project Level.
- Assess and analyse Risk Tolerance and Operational Risk quotappetitequot
- Facilitation to support identification of Opportunities and Threats.
- Maintain Risk and Opportunities statistics
- Monitor and report on Risk Management system effectiveness at both Corporate and Projects level
- Provide solutions to Risk Opportunities and Threats problems.
- Provide confidence and assurance to customers on Risk related issues.
- Establish and implement an effective and integrated system of Risk Management
- Manage Risk Management training
The ideal candidate should be degree qualified and come from a risk management background. A minimum of 10 years work experience within engineering and construction environment is required. My client is particularly interested in candidate who has previously worked on metrorail projects and is a Certified Risk Manager IRM or Registered Risk Practitioner ALARM.
