Job Description Senior Systems Engineer
An opening has become available at an internationally acclaimed oil and gas company who are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi! The role that you will be taking on will require you to take full responsibility of diagnosing and resolving OS System problems ensuring that account is taken of agreed levels of service and the needs for quality security availability and safety utilizing appropriate specialized techniques tools methods or standards.
To be suitable for this role it is required for you to have the following background
bull A minimum of 12 yearsrsquo experience in the design development and deployment of IT OS System and Network solutions. Preferably within oil and gas industry.
bull Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or other related discipline or equivalent experience in a technical or business discipline.
bull Operator experience.
Some of the Key Responsibilities that you will be given are as follows
bull Develop and ensures that business continuity planning policy requirements for OS System are embedded in all relevant IS and other organizational policy standards and procedures
bull Manages the production of quality documented capacity plans as well as formulates the basis of submissions for procurement of OS System component
bull Managing changes to the live infrastructure and contributes to the evaluation or establishment of the change management system ensuring OS System conformance to documentation standards by analysing change records and its OS System impact to determine trends and problems.
