Key responsibilityCoordinating the implementation of the Construction Environmental Management Plan environmental inspection and monitoring programs and associated processes and procedures. Provide advice and assistance to our Client construction personnel and subcontractors for minimising environmental aspects and impacts associated with our Client activities. Organisation Profile

The company has also shaped it as a leading contractor for construction and energy projects in the State of Qatar. To date our client has delivered many civil structural mechanical electrical infrastructure road and highway projects for prestigious clients.

The company maintains an integrated and third party accredited HSEQ Management System in accordance with the requirements of OHSAS 18001 ISO 14001 and ISO 9001. Achieving and maintaining excellence in HSEQ management in operational and project delivery processes is a high priority for our Client.
Responsibilities
Under supervision of the Project HSSE Manager Deputy HSSE Manager ·Liaise with company construction team members and subcontractors and facilitate the effective implementation of Construction Environmental Management Plan and associated procedures
·Undertake Site Environmental Inspections daily in all work areas warehouses and lay down areas to identify and eliminate environmental hazards
·Monitor environmental parameters e.g. dust noise water quality etc. as per requirements of the Construction Environmental Management Plan
·Coordinate effective implementation of waste management on site and maintain records of waste reduction reuse and recycle.
·Investigate environmental incidents
·Prepare and present toolbox talks and briefings on environmental topics as required
·Assist the Project HSSE Manager in the preparation of weekly and monthly reports.
·Undertake other HSSE related activities as directed by the Project HSSE Manager
Required Qualifications Experience Skills and Abilities
·Degree or Diploma in Environmental Science Environmental Studies or relevant disciplinefrom a recognized institution
·At least 5 years experience in environmental management with at least 2 years experience in the construction industry
·Extensive knowledge of environmental issues associated with the construction projects and demonstrated experience in resolving such issues
·Knowledge of environmental legislation and standards as applicable to the construction industry.
