Alfa Laval Middle East is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Service Operations department. You will be part of a flexible team of colleagues working around the Middle East Region. Your primary tasks will be
As Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for the overhaul repair fault diagnosis and onsite servicing of Alfa Laval equipment such as decanters separators and plate heat exchangers. The activities wil mostly be carried out in Saudi Arabian but on request job could be all over the Middle East Region
Your competences
You are expected to have an Industrial Engineer Mechanical engineer or Marine engineer background with minimum 5 years of experience in a similar industry. You need to have good knowledge about Automation and PLC allowing you to work independent on different systems. We are looking for colleagues with strong problemsolving skills who work structured and qualityconsciously to provide our customers with highlevel service.
Candidates with good knowledge of Alfa Laval equipment will be preferred.
Further good communication skills in English spoken and written are essential along with an understanding of Microsoft Office products. Driving license is required.

Candidate Profile Personal
- Relevant trade qualifications and experience with high speed rotating equipment and plate heat exchangers
- Experience with installation commissioning and onsite servicing of complex mechanical equipment
- Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills
- Customer relationship skills
- Good electrical knowledge and PLC skills would be desirable
- A selfstarter who is hardworking and has enthusiasm to learn
- Ability to work well both within the team and independently
- Dynamic initiativedriven persistent reliable and goaloriented
- Team People oriented thriving in multicultural environment
- Methodical and organised working style
- Willing to Work in plate heat exchanger workshop and at customer sites any where in Saudi Arabia.
- Willing to travel around 100 120 days per year
The position is on local contract with all provisions governed by the Local Labour Law.
