A Consumer and Business Insights Manager is required for our client a leading global FMCG organisation. The position will be based in their Riyadh Head Office.
The CBI manager is expected to lead “strategic insight and foresight” into our consumers and marketplace. This position ensures that the business strategies are grounded in appropriate consumer and business insights and foresights to balance risk and reward.
The CBI manager is a key support to the senior management team and has broad impact across operations marketing menu management and external partners. The CBI manager will be part of the marketing department but will work closely with other departments especially Finance.
The role is different and of a higher order from that of an “analyst” as we expect this person to have the necessary business communication and leadership skills to ensure a broad impact on strategy development within the organization.
Principal Responsibilities
• Analyze internal and external data to identify major trends and opportunities
• Participate on crossfunctional teams to provide data collation and data interpretation support as required for various initiatives
• Deliver agreedupon monthly quarterly reports analyzing business performance – in coordination with Finance department
• Promotion tracking and analysis
• Projections for all major promotions campaigns – coordinate between marketing and supply chain
• Pmix analysis to support business performance analysis
• PTW Sales comp build development and tracking – a significant responsibility
• Specific analysis of any part of the business as required to provide perspective and insight on business performance
• Be the lead for all consumer research including product testing – coordinate with research agency to finalize design and methodology ensure quality present insights findings internally
• Serve as the main contact for MEDC CBI Lead
• Work closely with MEDC to ensure alignment and effective implementation of key consumer research and businesssupporting initiatives
• Be the consumer voice internally ensure consumer insights are considered and used in the development of all strategy tactics
Skills
•Bachelor’s Degree preferably Mathematics Statistics Economics Business graduates
•Curious knowledge seeker – natural tendency to ask “why” and seek answers
•Advanced analytical skills
•Good knowledge of consumer research methodologies tools and techniques
•Strong communication skills written and oral write presentations and present well conduct dialogue and influence crossfunctional teams
•Project management skills
•Diligent Attention to detail
•Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is a must
•Minimum 56 years relevant work experience in a reputed research agency or a large organisation.
