Logistics Operation Manager

Logistics Operation Manager




As expansion plans are in place the Logistics Operation Manager will be actively running and developing the operation and insures that the efficiency of the operation team and equipment’s are meeting the required KPI’s. This involves the ability to deliver proper project management plans for any new projects and continues monitor the input and output. He will be responsible in cutting costs without effecting performance and build a strong base for high efficiency. He will need to insure to develop customer satisfaction in building strong relationship with them by delivering high quality and professional services.




Main Duties and Responsibilities





  • Visit Operation fields daily.



  • Create and update SOP’s and documentation to support program.



  • Work with internal and external sites collecting information and aggregating data to support program and corporate goals.



  • Coordinate with sites internal functional areas legal indirect procurement finance insurance and other Gilead functions to insure alignment and leverage existing practices.



  • Work closely and negotiate service agreements with different suppliers.



  • Manage the strategic warehousing and distribution of inventory at third party logistic providers as well as supplier locations.



  • Drive practical transportation management solutions that leverage technology.



  • Insures that all service solutions of 3PL services are met to customers.



  • Insures that the 3PL warehouses are up to the quality standards.



  • Follow up and issue KPI reports to management and customers.



  • Train and guide all operation team to quality delivery.



  • Follow up and handle all guidelines to the city logistics operation.






  • Skills


    We need you to have aan



    •Experience in managing people.

    •Project Management experience.

    •Experience in logistics operation from managing time frames and workloads.

    •Working knowledge about the 3PL industry and the standard minimum service features of the business.

    •Familiar with transportation services with cost efficiency modeling.

    •Knowledge about logistics equipment’s.

    •Knowledge and experience in KPI’s and SOP’s.

    •Knowledge on how to build budgets and familiar with financial sheets

    •Must have superb communications social and interpersonal skills.

    •Must have excellent organizational leadership and managerial skills.

    •Minimum 5 years’ experience in Logistics.

    •Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic.
