VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for Infrastructure Specialist for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions Skill Set required •At least 5 8 years related IT experience •Effective communication facilitation and influencing skills ability to present ideas clearly and concisely •Knowledge in System Center Service Manager and integration with SCOM and SCCM •Experience and understanding of the other System Center Products and how they integrate with SCSM System Center Configuration Manager System Center Orchestrator System Center Operations Manager System Center Virtual Machine Manager •Integrating Run Books with SCSM and creating and troubleshooting Run Books •IT Infrastructure technologies Active Directory Exchange HyperV VMware Backups Storage deployment and infrastructure knowledge including troubleshooting design and implementation experience •Ability to write scripts in VBScript or PowerShell. •Knowledge and experience of designing and implementing Microsoft Clusters. •Strong communication skills Responsibilities •Translates logical designs into physical designs taking account of the target environment performance requirements existing systems power supply requirements fire protection and any potential safetyrelated aspects. •Documents all work using required standards methods and tools including prototyping tools where appropriate. •Obtains and evaluates proposals from suppliers of equipment software and other IT service providers. •Assists in the assessment and selection of suitable IT technology solutions to meet all or parts of specified requirements. •Installs or removes hardware andor software using developed installation instructions and tools within established procedures and quality systems including where appropriate handover to client. •Ensures that appropriate performance and diagnostic tools are used to test the hardware andor software and quantify and qualify changes made. •Corrects malfunctions calling on other experienced colleagues or external resources if required and initiates action to ensure best use is made of available assets. •Initiates action to maintain or improve installation procedures and standards within area of authority Educational Qualifications •Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or Engineering. •Accreditations e.g.SCSM Specialization MCTS MCSE MCITP VCP ITIL foundation Terms and conditions Joining time frame Immediate.
