Job Responsibilities
•Prepare annual sales and marketing plans to ensure the achievement of targets under the supervision of the line manager
•DevelopsMonitor and Control Sales plans and budgets to achieve or exceed the annual sales objectives for the company.
•Ensure optimum utilization of resources in the region.
•Generate sales and develop Sales ChannelsKey Accounts for the company products in the region through a team of salesmen in order to achieve or exceed the annual sales targets.
•Develop and maintain an efficient distribution network to ensure the comprehensive availability of company’s products and services across the region.
•Establish and ensure that all sales administration procedures relating to the region are properly implemented to support the sales teams in their efforts to accomplish the sales targets.
•Coordinate and follow up with the storehouse supervisor to ensure that adequate inventory stock of product is maintained for the Region in order to meet the sales delivery schedules and provide the customers with superior levels of service and meet the needs of the customer.
•Liaise with the Marketing team to ensure that adequate marketing support by way of merchandising and promotions is available in the region in order to provide brand visibility and promote sales in the region.
•Develop the necessary Sales Management organization structure and ensure the right caliber of staffing and appropriate training to meet all job requirements.
•Demonstrate high leadership skills so that staff are well motivated and engaged to stay and contribute effectively to the organization
•Confirm and monitor a calendar of sales callspresentations to customersprospects monitor results. Prepare an annual evaluation of the customers to include performance areas for improvement and plans to cure weaknesses.
•Clear pricing and any other issues arising from a customer's purchase order.
•Conduct store checks of competitors' customers that are within assigned independent sales representatives territories.
•Review historical and current SKU sales trends.
•Conduct preselling season product development review meetings with key assigned accounts and sales agency personnel.
•Train and assist the sales reps.
•Elaborate the annual promotion and advertising campaigns based on a budget.
•To direct the Sales team and establish sales targets brand wise pack wise as per ABP help them in breaking the same geographically monthly weekly daily targets.
•Help business head in developing long term pricing strategy to maximize variable margin through product territory pack mix decisions.
•Have a clear focus on new channels like Institutions and Modern Trade to build Distribution Visibility and volumes.
Skills
Education Qualifications Special training Experience and Skills
•MBA from one of the premier institutes with minimum 10 years of sales and marketing experience out of which majority of the time should have been in sales function.
•A minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in an FMCG company of repute is a must.
•Should have worked in at least two regions of the country and should have handled at least one zone for a period of 3 years.
•FMCG sector experience is a must however having Toy Industry Experience would be an added advantage.
•Must be an Arabic speaker
