The Role


Thomson Reuters is looking for a New Business Executive based in Saudi Arabia to represent our Financial division.

The role is responsible for selling the Investors suite of products targeting Asset Management both retail and institutional and Investment Banking sectors primarily in the KSA.



The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of both the buyside and sellside in the region and have gained significant experience selling to these sectors here in either a data vendor or financial services capacity.



The New Business Executive generates new business opportunities and closures by taking qualified leads from multiple sources including prospectors and over the telephone demonstrates Thomson Reuters Financial and Risk capability to new customers develops proposals negotiates contracts and finally closes the business.



Heshe must also ensures the effective handover of accounts to Account Management and provide feedback from the customer to segments.



The successful candidate will be required to source their own leads through prospecting and research build knowledge of competition maintains accurate customer contact and opportunity data in our CRM system and conduct winloss analysis plus maintains strong awareness of external market to identify business opportunities.


Requirements


35 years experience in Sales

Must have experience of selling to KSA Asset Managers or Investment Banking

Understanding of software products used in this space eg Bloomberg Factset CapIQ TR

CFA or CAIA qualified would be an advantage

Willingness to travel

Strong selfmotivation with a determination to succeed

Ability to consistently achieve targets

University degree

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong presentation skills

KSA National
