Overall responsible for the profitable growth, oversees the day-to-day operations as a Deputy General Manager of the trading unit.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership and vision to the unit by assisting the Board and staff with the development of long range and annual plans, and with the evaluation and reporting of progress on plans.
- Achieves annual sales target and strive to cut costs according to budget;
- Planning / Procurement of materials and subcontracting of works and inventory etc.
- Assists in development of forms and tools to increase the unit's efficiency, profitability, and risk management;
- Takes over the general manager daily tasks in his absence;
- Ensure that high customer satisfaction is achieved;
- Design all departmental targets and evaluate all staff performance and develop and implement efficient staff training programs as per requirement;
- Monitor, recommend, and implement amends for all unit operation and ensure compliance to all departments and government regulations;
- Analyses and implements policies and procedures;
- Takes on basic HR roles of the business unit such as recommending remuneration and developing Job Descriptions;
