Business Continuity Process Manager


ROLE PURPOSE



To support the embedding delivery and implementation of Business Continuity BC and Crisis Management CM practices frameworks and policies and procedures in a manner which is proportionate and pragmatic in order to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach to Business Continuity and Crisis Management within the organization in order to mitigate the impact of business interruption risks to the company thereby protecting the company against losses whether financial or reputation.



• To be the Business Continuity Lead working closely with the Business Continuity Management BCM Committee Departmental BC Coordinators and location BC plan owners for the delivery of all BCM deliverables.

• To develop implement and maintain up to date accurate revisions of all Business Continuity Plans BCP Disaster Recovery DR documentation Business Impact Analysis Emergency response procedures call Lists Test results etc.

• To provide guidance and support to all locations including branches for the development maintenance and testing of Business Continuity and Crisis Management plans

• To manage and participate in the execution scheduling and scope of recovery strategies from Business interruptions

• Enhance business continuity and crisis management capabilities throughout all levels.

• To develop and implement proportionate and pragmatic BCM strategies and plans across the business

• To identify monitor and document business continuity risks issues in the IT business areas and from Business Continuity tests

• To conduct and manage the risk analysis process for functional areas to identify points of vulnerability single points of failure assist with the identification of risk avoidance and mitigation strategies

• To develop status reports on Business Continuity and Crisis Management plans and prepare management reports as necessary

• To prepare regular routine BCM status updates to the CET Directors Leadership team and management committees as well as external auditors

• To provide BCM slides and plans updates to the FD RampC for the purpose of quarterly Risk amp Compliance Committee RampCC Audit Committee AC updates and any regulatory updates

• To be the point of contact with the Group Business Continuity and Crisis Management Team

• To develop implement maintain up to date and provide Business Continuity and Crisis Management materials to all employees

• To develop implement and provide Business Continuity and Crisis Management training to key employees at least once per annum

• To develop implement and test end to end Business Continuity and Crisis Management plans and tests on a routine basis of at least once per annum

• To develop and maintain a strong and healthy relationship with external emergency service providers in support of the company BCM and CM plans e.g. Fire Services Police services relevant sections of the relevant ministries contacts at chosen hospitals for ambulance services

• Education to degree level or equivalent

• BS degree in business or IT preferred

• Fluent in both Arabic and English language is essential.

• Working knowledge and experience in the delivery of BCM within a large corporate organization

• Experience indicating strong analytical capabilities

• Good communication and facilitation skills

• Minimum of 5 years experience in BCM in a large corporate environment

• Must be able to travel without restriction to all the company’s locations within Saudi Arabia and at times at short notice

• Must be able to work in a highly pressurized environment and cope with implementing and managing frequent change.
