Job descriptionOverall Purpose of the RoleService engineer is expected to add value to customer assets reliability by carrying out activities which will include installing implementing and incorporating services on MHM Machinery Health Management portable devices. He will be expected also to carry out online wireless and AMS services as required. Engineer is expected to participate in other Reliability Solutions projects and services as per Emerson business needs. Roles and ResponsibilitiesInstall implement and incorporate services for machinery health management portable devices such as CSI 2130 CSI 2140 at customer locations. Install services including establishing asset names measurement locations install and license software database creation and validation analysis parameters and alert setting user trainings baseline data establishment and analysis. Implement services which will include conducting of awareness trainings at customer sites to gain user alignment establishing benchmark KPIs evaluation of related work flow processes reengineer maintenance tasks to utilize portables optimization of AMS machinery manager database and alerts. Incorporate services which includes loading reengineered maintenance tasks in enterprise asset management system mentoring and coaching to adopt maintenance tasks as standard operation procedures in CMMS and to facilitate change management. Collection and analysis of condition monitoring data such as vibration using portables. Conduct customer trainings related to portables and other MHM equipment. Generate timely detailed survey reports from analyzed condition monitoring data of rotating and other equipment to accurately pinpoint faults and machinery health. Write actionable recommendations in the reports. Troubleshoot equipment at client sites. Use software tools such as AMS machinery manager efficiently for the assignments. Use techniques such as multichannel phase analysis and Peakvue. Use advanced functions of CSI2130 such as transient and advanced cross channel function for assignments. Perform other assigned duties related to projects and services for asset optimization and machinery health management operations such as online 6500 protectionprediction and wireless projects services. Proper time management and timesheets reporting. Stay current with the developments in the field of asset optimization and machinery health management. Communicate with other colleagues and with the management clearly and efficiently. Perform duties in safe manner in line with client and Emerson safety rules and regulations. Ensure tasks are performed in line with PSS quality management system. Adhere to Emerson Ethics policy. Maintain excellent customer relationships. Travel to customer sites in MEA region and other business related as part of the job. Peak expected travel 70. Additional related duties related to AO MHM operations may be assigned as per business needs.
