Senior Project Manager

.Project Manager IT Projects My client based in Riyadh Saudi Arabia have asked us to assist in the hire of a Project Manager. Competitive Package Location Riyadh Saudi Arabia. Banking. Prince 2 PMP. Responsibilities Project Manager is responsible for oversight of any projects with IT projects to plan schedule budget and quality. The role requires mastery of the technical knowledge of project management interrelated process stages ie initiate plan execute monitor and control and close and the supporting processes eg scope cost time issue risk resource and communication. Proficiency in related processes such as program management methods and tools and quality assurance is also required. Project Manager must have excellent communication and relationship management skills to successfully lead and manage the project team. Preferred experience Financial Services experience across multisite high volume business with specific experience in Retail Banking or Corporate Banking or Wealth or a substantial banking support function at senior management level Experienced within a IT project team that has managed a complex fast moving Change Portfolio comprising varied project types different business lines in a bank technical projects and behavioural ones and the associated processes and practices Experience in designing KPI's benefits trackers and engaging stakeholders for ongoing reporting purposes. Experience of ensuring good practice is adopted without bureaucratic burden of excessive process management around programme inception and management multiple projects project inception project prioritisation project and release planning risk and issue management dependency management resource management and financial management including business case developmenttracking Proven familiarity with effective implementation of 'Business Change' ie process changes documentation training migration strategies testing communication pilots and operational acceptance Advanced projectprogramme management skills use of structured formal methods but experienced in deploying pragmatic change processes as appropriate Managed formalised timely and effective change control processes within a bank and led change control meetings Proven track record of delivery and of interacting at senior executive level Demonstrable ability to operate independently and take accountability for the delivery of major initiatives in a fast moving environment Key activities As directed by the Central Team Head works with a selection of projects Works with stakeholders to developreview quality of IT project plans and other project documentation eg project charter risk and issues log stakeholder mapping etc Is aware of the different defined stages of IT projects across SDLC phases in Riyad Bank Works with project teams coaching and advising where necessary and using business or domain relevant experience on project management best practice and bringing project documentation and practice up to required standards Facilitates creation of projectrelated meetings but not necessarily their conduct eg workshops progress review sessions steering committees stakeholder engagement crossfunctional dialogue etc Supports project teams in the creation and tracking of appropriate projectrelated KPIs Assists project teams in identifying project dependencies and interdependencies on other projectsCRsinitiatives and in coming up with viable actions to address all these Identifies and troubleshoots any issues Follows up on any issues of progress reporting as directed by the Team Head Supports the Central Team Head in Developing a portfoliolevel view of risksissuesinterdependenciesimpacts and change capabilities Engaging with key internal suppliers eg IT HR etc to ensure capacity planning in timely properly informed and its findings acted on Establishing project management policies standards methodology processes and templates to deliver projects effectively and in conformance to Bank standards Providing appropriate updates and information so that the Board Top Executives and stakeholders are kept properly informed Ensuring good practice is adopted around projectprogramme inceptionprioritisationresourcingbusiness case development and trackingchange control Maintaining an archive of key project documentation including approvals Communicating and promoting understanding of the project portfolio whether directly or through Internal Comms Developing individuals into change management skills and raising the change capability of the Bank Thank you for taking the time to review this vacancy adve more...
