Job Description We are working on an interesting and unique opportunity to work with a medium sized global operator as a Principal Well Engineer overseeing drilling programs and operations across various assets. You will be permanently based in the UAE working along side the group well engineering team to produce corporate standards relating to drilling procedures using commercial benchmarks as well as actively assisting specific operations internationally
Responsibilities
bullAssist with planning and operational issues for multiple assets including HPHT and ERD Drilling Wells.
bullAdvise on Drilling issues relating to operations and equipment involving sour gas wells
bullProduce Corporate Standard Drilling Programs to utilise overall global performance
bullAdvise on future exploration projects working with entire subsurface department
bullLead Company HSE culture both at Corporate level and on a asset by asset basis
Requirements
bullMust have a broad Drilling Engineering background
bullMust be degree educated
bullIdeally have corporate drilling experience but not essential
bullMust be commercially aware
bullIdeally will have experience in HPHT operations ERD operations and H2S Drilling
