Process Engineer Dubai Abu Dhabi Job No. 2960

My client has an urgent requirement for a Senior Process Engineer to join our team in managing a FEED contractor in Abu Dhabi in the first phase of Full Field Development of a project near Basrah in Iraq.

The position will be based in UAE for whole of the FEED period plus the EPC

package evaluation before moving to EPC contractors offices in approximately

24 months from now.

The total project duration is expected to be up to five years.

Salary in line with current rates for similar positions in UAE UK or

European

Accommodation allowance would be provided for living in Dubai circa

Local transport allowance 1000month

When working in Abu Dhabi Company pay for hotel accommodation plus 100

per day

Work Schedule 5 days on 2 days off

Qualification Requirements

Education Relevant Bachelor's Degree Master's Degree

Relevant Professional Experience Oil amp Gas Experience from 10 years

minimum

Onshore Projects Experience

Sour Field Experience

Middle East Experience preferable

Objectives and Performance Criteria

Tasks for which the position is being introduced

Design review on all Process deliverables in compliance with the Best

International Codes amp Standards and applicable local site regulations

Coordination and Effective Execution of Process Engineering Tasks ensuring

close interaction with inter and intradiscipline parties.

Criteria for the task performance efficiency Process Deliverables Meet the

objective of the project achieving highest technical and safety Integrity

Project is following Planned Schedule and Activities while objectives of the

project are met

Quantitative impact indicators All engineering deliverables for Process of

project are completed in compliance with Company requirements.

Implementation of innovative ideas in design work with due regard to cost

Schedule optimization and resources whilst maintaining technical integrity

Criteria for the task performance efficiency. Suitable Technology and

Equipment selection to meet Target Production

Quantitative impact indicators Safe Operable Reliable and cost effective

ProcessUnit operations selection and implementation.

Supervision of Contractor Process design work and schedule to achieve

Project goals

Criteria for the task performance efficiency. Project schedule is met and

Project is aware of delays in advance

Timely turnover of FEED Contractor deliverables

Quantitative impact indicators. Quality of process deliverables and timely

completionActions to mitigate delays.

Functions

Perform review of Process engineering and design activities to ensure HSE

Quality Operability Availability and Constructability of the intended

facilities

Perform design review work in compliance with the Best International Codes amp

Standards and applicable local site regulations

Ensure compliance all process design work in line with the Company best

Practices and implement the lessons learned by the Company

Ensure implementation of best applicable Codes and Standards to achieve high

level of safety and technical integrity of the facilities.

Ensure Selected process and technology meets schedule and intended objective

of achieving targeted production and ease of operability and safety

Ensure selected process and technology suits local environment based on

available manpower and utilities

Ensure clear process input to the FEED Basis of Design in discussion with

the process team

Ensure Contractor's work progress meeting Project schedule

Ensure all process related work is checked and approved before issue

Ensure Contractor working within the provisions and guidelines of the

Quality Assurance system

Ensure Contractor working within the provisions and guidelines of Company

HSE procedures objectives and guidelines
