Job Description
The company is North America's largest corrosion engineering cathodic protection and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure. The company provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies government agencies municipal water sewer and gas utilities universities and public transportation agencies.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement plans and operating budgets that will achieve the desired growth and profitability for the company in KSA
- Partner with Regional Operational teams to provide leadership direction and development for all members of the staff
- Communicate corporate vision and policies to company staff
- Maximize profitability of the department as well as optimize cash flow of regionalgroup business i.e. timely invoicing and collections
- Partner with Sales on principal accounts
- Provide direction and prospect analysis as well as interpretation of customer requirements product and service applications
- Lead team to design install and maintain Cathodic Protection systems on water storage tanks
- Prepare and review proposals with Operations and Sales team
- Based on customer feedback provide guidance to Platform and other department managers to facilitate continuous improvement
- Attend Trade Shows and maintain regular involvement in key trade and industry associations
- Develop and oversee safety and technical training programs for all field staff
- Oversee subcontractor relationships to maintain quality workmanship and profitability
- Oversee recruitment hiring and training of staff within the Department
- Establish a career development program to ensure the best performers have opportunities for success and advancement
- Stay abreast of new techniques and tools for planning and managing sales and operations
Qualifications- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Construction Management or Business
- 7 years of operational management experience required
- Experience with safety management contract negotiation PampL management sales and estimating
- Design installation and maintenance of water storage tanks preferred
- Cathodic Protection system knowledge preferred
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with experience successfully leading and developing managers field technicians and subcontractors
