Job Description
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all the piping engineering piping design and equipment layout functions to meet the objectives of the Project.
- Organise and manage all aspects of the workload of the team of piping discipline engineers and designers within the parameters of the project schedule.
- Establish a list of discipline deliverables. Control monitor and progress these deliverables to an agreed schedule.
- Organise and manage the resource requirements for the piping discipline.
- Exercise guidance to staff in the preparation of piping materials and valve specifications and subsequently ensure purchase to required standards.
- Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems.
Skills
- A thorough knowledge of the international codes and standards .
- Extensive current design experience is required in piping engineering piping stress pipe supports equipment layouts and detailed piping design all gained with notable design contractors andor oilgas companies within the petrochemical industry.
- Good knowledge of piping materials to guide staff in the preparation of piping and valve specifications and subsequently ensure purchase to required standards.
- Relevant experience of the associated engineering disciplines of Metallurgy Mechanical Structural and Process systems would be a distinct advantage.
Requirements
- Lump sum and overseas experience
- Experince in engineering design
- Engineering degree or relevant educationexperience
- Vast amount of years experience in oil amp gas refinery petrochemical industry
- Proven experience within an exngineering manager role on overseas and lumpsum projects
