An experienced Chartered Engineer with hardware manufacturing knowledge is required to join a large Electronics firm in Saudi Arabia as an Engineering amp Development Consultant focusing on research development and strategy.
The role will lead the implementation of the EampD strategy in line with business restructuring activities to provide the company and its customers with highly innovative technical solutions in the short medium and longerterm.
Responsibilities
Direct and develop Engineering and development RampD strategies policies and plans.
Lead and manage the execution of the EampD strategy to ensure that this unit is appropriately focused clear on it objectives and effectively contributing to the overall strategy and goals of the company.
Play a pivotal role in activities strategies and programmes in achieving Engineering and Electrical development.
Ensure the company is able to deliver highly innovative and technologically advanced solutions to customers through the effective identification assessment and utilisation of the latest relevant technologies.
Provide strong oversight of the delivery of the program of projects under the direct responsibility of EampD and identify any corrective action required to ensure that project objectives are fully achieved.
Ensure the development of policies and standard operating procedures for the EampD Department are strongly aligned with other parts of the organisation its technology partners customers and external contractors.
Contribute to the overall leadership and development of the organisation to ensure the company delivers strong business performance for its shareholders and key stakeholders.
Develop effective working relationships with each of the Business Units to ensure that EampD fully understand businesscustomer requirements and that the capabilities of EampD are fully understood and optimally utilised.
